The ones that were just linked in this thread are USDM DOT approved plug and play units. They just don't have the clear glass / black accents like the special edition tails do.

I was just going based on the pics.

Plus the pic of the TOM'S on the WRB was a photoshop that the seller is using to sell HIS USDM taillights, so I'm not fully trusting them at this point.

i seriously want to preorder but i want to see photos of the real deal.

My reasoning is that all of the valenti's don't even look like the manufacturers photos.

Im not saying TOM's will be the same but i would rather see it in the flesh than these manufacturers photo.

They're limited and the slots are filling up quickly. If I were you, I'd purchase them anyways, and if you don't like them you can still sell them at a high price because they're limited and SOMEONE will buy them.

When TOM'S were first shown lit up people were all "Ewwww gross, I don't like how they light up." When they finally came out, though, they sold quickly and you seem them all over this site. So, even if you're not crazy about them, someone else will be that just couldn't get the money in time for this group buy or whatever back story they may have.

Just my input from experience and observation.
