I realize that in the FR-S that means with the seats down but its still available trunk space. |

I'm debating selling the Boss LS for the BRZ for what it's worth. I bought the Boss to track and I have had next to no time to do so in the past year and it's an expensive toy for something that gets little use. As a street car, the Boss is very large and while it's engaging, it isn't particularly fun as it has more power than can be used anywhere and it's so wide that you can't drive it aggressively without fear of being partially in the oncoming lane.

The 2011+ Mustang has 13.4 cu.ft. with seats up. Without the Shaker 1000 subwoofer. Rear seats fold down as well. BRZ cargo area is really shallow :/

Had a '11 V6 Coupe car hire at Xmas and it had loads of space in the trunk, fit my bag, holiday gifts, and unsuspecting hitchhiker no problem at all.

Thought it would do better, A LOT BETTER!
Hell, I don't even like Mustangs, but if I was looking for a sporty car in the mid-twenties the Mustang would probably be one of the better choices. The only thing I can figure to why the BR-Z and FR-S cost so much is based upon their exclusivity in the market. Performance wise, it just doesn't seem to be valued correctly.
Anyways, maybe I'm missing something, but I would of thought the BR-Z would have at least beat it in on the skidpad and in the handling department. If your only criteria to choose a car is the one that accelerates the quickest, then definitely, you are sorely disappointed by the BRZ's performance.
But for some other people, this is not the primary or the only factor when buying a new car. It really is that simple. And FYI, I have driven a 2012 Mustang GT, floored it, up to 120 mph.... Nothing impressive or fun about it. |

Another one!? LOL.
1: Weak US dollar vs Yen 2: Prius tires for more fun on public road 3: If you buy a car base on numbers don't buy BRZ/FRS |

I was at the local autoshow checking out the new BRZ. Start chatting with this guy who said he wish he had more power/turbo. I said you can never have enough power, you just get used to it and want more. He said he had a 500hp Mustang and that he usually have to let off the gas after 2nd gear on the street. I said what's the fun in that.
I've had WRX, RX-7 turbo, Evo, and Miatas, I've come to a conclusion that a fun car is more important than a fast car. You can add horsepower to a car but you can't add driving pleasure to a car. |

You also cannot add practicality to a car. I may hold out to see the FR-S/BRZ before I sell my car, but considering the car is even smaller than the 2nd 240sx, I suspect the rear seats are worthless. The BRZ beats the automatic Mustang test from Motortrend in a few categories:

There must be a reason why you don't understand what this car is all about ....
