Actually all that is being said is that we care about the safety of ourselves and others. Proper road etiquette is essential when participating in public road events like Tail of the Dragon and Back of the Dragon.

Our group can have a great name and as this event grows we want to be looked upon as a good group. You don't want the police in that area associating our cars as a group of trouble makers. Same goes for hotels when we ask for room discounts because 15-30 people plan to attend. They will remember us, be that in a good way or a bad way.

That all said... If you have a cool street race on an open road with no bystandards in harms way. I could care less. Post it up. The Dragon is different because all motoring enthusiasts appreciate that road and others like it and we have a duty to each other to keep it an open and enjoyable road that isn't peppered with police cars at every other curve.

There's no hate. As this event grows within the community the people who think this is ok will find that it won't be tolerated. And if that means a split in groups then so be it. Others like me, RedCelica and the rest of the people who explicitly explained the rules in this thread will simply form and conduct our own events with these rules laid out and enforced.

Well hopefully you guys always use turn signals and never go a single mile an hour over the speed limit otherwise you would be completely hypocritical.

Wasn't on the dragon at the time. It was on 143.

And killboy wasn't out there at all when we ran it so there won't be any pics from him.

I feel the need to quote this....just in case you commit insurance fraud. Which is a federal offense.

You realize that is a joke right? I told them that my car went in a ditch, which is what it did. I never said anything to them about a dog.

Wow, how the heck does a dirt bag who would turn around and do a quote that was clearly a joke to 99% of people in their right mind, then add their comment in and still manage to get 70 thanks? This just goes to prove, "You can not punch a punk pansy" thru a computer screen. Slang intended, general hypo-theoretical scenario not intended to harm any punk pansies, directly or indirectly, fictional or not human, non human and especially dogs
