Ok, so it has navi. Still, I'd take HID's over Navi any day. If possible I'd take no Navi at all, cheaper price beats out a convenience I'll rarely use.

But HIDs are more practical and offer a degree of safety with better visability at night over a touch screen.

So are you saying that unless you have HID's, you can't drive a car at night? Dang, what were you using to drive with at night before the invention of HID's....

Great parents are not ones who buy their kids sports cars when they are 16....That's failed parenting imo (yes I'm a parent).

Guess the rest of us drive blindly. The 350z comes with HID's, lol at me thinking I was safer just because my headlights were decently bright. If anything to me, HID's is a "cool" feature. Much more than that, sorry just don't see it. (no pun intended).

HIDs provide better visability which I would take on a country road or driving in the mountains. Updating FB or twitter provides nothing.

HID's is a cool feature, which also provides a practical and safe driving experience at night. Especially where I live with lots of small back-roads that have curves. Currently in my GTI, I have HID's. My last car did not and I don't think I want to go back.

So you don't talk to your passenger when you drive? This device is no more distracting than that. It reads you your text messages and you tell it what you want it to send back. It does matter how you're distracted. Not looking at the road is what causes texting while driving accidents, not the actual distraction of having to think about what you're going to say. The human brain believe it or not can do two things at once, but if take your eyes off the road you are taking away your ability to drive. With this system your attention is never taken away from the road, any more than talking to a passenger.
