No, they have spent $500. Tune 1 car only.

I really hope the community here embraces this. Anything to help drive down EcuTek prices ($300 for a flash cable is insulting) is welcome in my book. It may be more involved since it's a self-tuning solution, but competition is competition.
Map sharing + normal cable prices are a beautiful thing.

I do not think it'll change Ecutek pricing at all.
It didnt for subaru cars. License still the same, tune still the same.. it's a matter of preference. I love some of the features of ecutek, but having someone else tune it, and i cannot even see what they've done, let alone change it, is a major deal breaker for me. |

On another note,
Can Load limit be raised, and the Load axes on timing and fueling be re-scaled? I really have no interest in tuning this thing N/A other than possibly alleviating some of the torque dip. I'm going to be tuning for boost. So needing to extend the loads out is paramount. |

Yes: load axis can be scaled to higher levels MAF senor scaling table is available to help with adding turbocharger or supercharger. MAP sensor scaling not available yet but is in progress. |

MAP sensor scaling would be nice. Do you have anyone developing the ECU for new functionality, or are you just defining the ROM? |

Any and all competition is good. Ecutek in Impreza market is pretty non-existent. You don't have to believe me, just look at pricing between an Ecutek solution and an Accessport. The feature parity vs. price parity is not in Ecutek's favor. Hopefully, development in the market spurs innovation. That's all we want, isn't it?

first we define rom maps
maybe next we seek additional functions such as launch limiter or flat foot shift like in wrx roms |

I presume from some of the screenshots that other members have posted that the factory files you're providing are the original ones that don't include Subaru's latest TSB fix. Any chance you have the files available for the latest factory reflash? That's ZA1JA00C for USDM 6MT, for instance.

Anyone care to share the "factory" file that comes with BRZedit?
Could load it up in IDA and start playing. |
