And it doubles as storage for another car in the garage

So today I did some E85 tuning with @FA20Club.com and I wanted to share the results. I have really enjoyed the 93 octane tune with the Borla UEL as the TQ is far improved and for actual driving (not redlining each shift) it is awesome. We have played around with the E85 for a while now but today my goals for Tony were to get as much midrange power as possible and not concentrate so much on the "peak" numbers. We were literally in swamp conditions with temps in the 85-90 range and a torrential downpour starting 30 minutes prior to the pulls and lasting throughout the day. I am still extremely pleased for less than ideal conditions.

Tony has also supplied me a baseline run from another BRZ on the same dyno. He runs tons of FRS and BRZs on this dyno and the stock numbers are always consistently in the same range. He gave me the most average of average baselines just so you can see the gains across the board with the mods I have currently installed.

I am running a Perrin CAI and silicone intake tube, Perrin pulley, Borla UEL, Perrin Overpipe, Perrin Front Pipe with HFC, and Perrin Resonated Catback. I am running ecutek/FA20Club tune with 4 maps..2 93 Octane and 2 E85. This is a full bolt on build at this point and pretty easily attainable by the masses. No oil cooler or engine mounts yet but those are next before FI.

Here are the results...Baseline and 93 Octane from last tune session first.

And here are the E85 results. You will see two spots where the tach pick-up lost signal momentarily but they are not dips in the power delivery..just a brief second of no signal during the run. If you notice there is NO TQ DIP at all. NONE!! This car pulls hard no matter where you shift. It is a handful in wet weather as it spins 1st through 4th gears with minimal throttle input. In the dry it is epic! If it just wasn't so damn hot and humid down here all the time I wouldn't be shopping turbos...

And lastly, here are all 3 runs on the same chart. With the loss of signal in a few areas it's hard to read with all 3 runs... but I figured I'd post it before someone asks. I am pretty good with photoshop and I could easily clean them up but I don't want anyone of accusing me of messing with the actual results.

If anyone has any questions or comments I'm always happy to help.

We were in the worst conditions other than adding in some really high altitude. It's HARD to make big power NA in this heat and humidity but the cars do run great on the few cool days we get each winter. I think if I still lived in Orange County, CA I wouldn't be on such a hunt for power.

The car is a blast to drive now without the TQ dip!! So much better!!

I could never ruin my car by bagging it but wanted to see what it would look like. I know some people love this look so I'm sharing..

Looks amazing and the car is not too shabby!! jkkk- what prompted the switch from the carsmo to the zeta CF parts?

Carsmo looked amazing on WRB - I haven't seen it as complimentary on SWPs so far..

Does it allow you to work on the underbody of the car? I couldn't tell from the website or pics.

I was having a few issues with fitment with the Carsmo so I switched to the Zeta. The Zeta has some fitment issues too but in a different area so it's not as noticeable. Unfortunately I haven't found a spoiler I love and fits perfect yet. I'm going to eventually make some relief cuts on this spoiler then paint the majority of it WRB. I want a small lip spoiler for the rear window in CF too so I am waiting to get that before deciding what parts to paint and what parts to leave CF.

If you're referring to the lift...yes, it allows you to work under the car. I usually use it for storing an extra car in the garage so unless I'm going to be working on a decent sized project I don't shuffle all the cars around.

Thanks for the compliments!!
