Thank you! The scrapes were pretty shallow so we're probably only talking a few thousandths of an inch. Not enough to feel or see a difference in height. In fact the lip on these wheels is so thick that if the damage was really severe I would just have someone machine the whole lip down on a lathe until the damage was gone and then refinish the lip. No one would ever know it was repaired. I know a lot of places use body filler to fill in the scrape but I think this is a more durable solution.

So who has the best deal on these around the netz? Black Friday is coming up.

Anyone know if the 17x7.5 preserves the concavity of the 17x8? The 8s seem to share similar concavity w/ the 9s unlike Wedsports.

Looking for 17x7.5 (maybe 8) et45ish gumetal metallic (some call it hyperblack?).

Also on the subject of Weds TC105, some reading around seems to indicate the published weight is off by about 1-1.5lbs depending. Makes the Rotas look more attractive unless anyone can confirm for sure. Thx.

Just ordered mine from wheeldude.com paid $1800 with tires and tpms. Wheels 17x9 +40 all around and tires 245/40/17. They are running a 10% discount for Sema.

Here's mine: 17x8 +42

I think they look abit too bling. In hindsight I should have gone for the matte steel. Oh well.

Plenty of Global time attack cars running rotas and a lot of people running them on a track and street as well, you'll be fine on your street car, the only time you'll have issues is if you run into something, as you will with any other wheel you put on your car as well.

This x's 100,000,000. There are plenty of Subaru guys running Rota wheels as track wheels. Check out the TurnIn Concepts car. I also know of a couple of guys who cracked their HRE's at the track. So yeah. These guys make very good wheels at a very compelling price point. These Titans looks really nice...

Comparing Rota to HRE is not a standard I'd use. HRE is overweight, overpriced crap for mid-life crisis exotic car owners with more money than brains.

Do you have any rubbing issues with your wheels? I'm looking to lower my BRZ and get the same spec wheels as you.

Don't think I saw it anywhere...what tire size are you running?

Thanks! Car is looking nice
