Perhaps we do agree.

What I am saying is that a high ride height will only work against what they are trying to achieve with a low CofG. I'm not saying the ride height changes the CofG. I assume that every car and motorcycle manufacturer ideally would like to centralize the mass and then carry that mass as close to the ground as they can get away with. Furthermore, those pictures make the car look like it's riding pretty high, even for a street car.

Does that make sense?

If it has an extremely low CoG with a stock suspension, making it lower than that will just make it that much better.

All those talking about stock car gonna have low CoG, so add coilver/lower springs will make it more low is nice and all... but some of you are forgetting something.

Exhaust Header. FRS will have boxer engine which equal to exhaust header is on the bottom. Not like straight engine, not on the side. Not like V engine, it will not on angled side. It will literally come out from the bottom.

If you drop it too much, expect to have dented oil pan & exhaust header.

NOTE: I'm not con on boxer engine. I'm pro on boxer engine

Not to worry to much. As long as you don't drop like hella flush or those kinda crazy drop, you'll be fine. Just think of it as "if you go through the dip/bump, gonna hit bottom of front bumper?" IIRC my Impreza's UEL header is almost same height w bottom of front bumper (I think, or maybe 1/2" lower?).

Here's lil funny story, last week, when it was snowing/raining here, I need to go get some meds (been sick). To get to one of the parking lot need to go through puddle of water (maybe 9" deepest part), exhaust header touched it so a ton of steam came out and ppl were freaking out (some ppl had this kind of face -> ). It was pretty funny.

But again, FRS engine will be more like FMR layout (not like Impreza front of front axle), so you don't really need to worry bout it.

My Honda Prelude has the headers come out the front, then wrap around the bottom of the engine, next to the oil pan. I'm used to the exhaust tubes scraping the ground once every 3 months, it's ok. I'm very cautious with everything on the road, and have been driving a very lowered car for the last 6 years, on the streets of NYC (very horrible streets).

I'm very happy about this car having a boxer engine, it's actually the main reason I'm even considering it.
