Yeah, puppies can be a disaster. They're the catalyst behind me having tile and hardwood installed throughout my entire house. So much easier to clean up the "accidents".

![]() Anyhow, what is the typical shooting range (correct term?) for this rifle? I mean the range that it could inflict bodily harm. IIRC M16 has probably about 400 meters range while the M14 has further range because of different ammo (5.56 mm vs 7.62 mm). And M14 makes a better sniper rifle than M16. Am I making sense here??? (Sorry, gun noobs here) |

M14 is Unrestricted, as long as the barrel is over 18.5" (I think they are often 22"). Neither is really a sniper rifle. M14s are modded to be used as DMR's (Designated Marksman Rifles) I believe. Good to 600ish meters? Maybe more? For a 7.62mm x 51 sniper rifle (er... I mean deer hunting gun) in Canada you could get something like a CZ 750 S1M1 heavy barrel, a Sako TRG-22 (also available in .338 Lapua), or Tikka T3 tactical heavy barrel.

Now I've seen it all. Pages of people giving investment advice on a car forum.
So epic.

"Gold traded at about $900 per ounce in the summer of 2008, before the financial crisis unfolded that year. It passed $1,600 in late May and briefly rose above $1,800 for the first time on Wednesday before pulling back to $1,784. On Friday, gold fell to $1,740.60 per ounce, still nearly twice the summer 2008 prices." |

I can only see the gold bubble bursting in the near future. however, it does make me want to go up into the mountains and pan for some, anyway

Okay, so we're back to gold. Now someone compare return on gold vs return on houses. Then we will be one jump away from being back on topic!
Cars vs house to gold (and history lessons) to bullets to guns to dogs back to guns back to gold. We're almost back to the beginning!

With the expectation that gold will continue to go higher as world wide economies (US, Italy, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France...etc.) continue to shit on themselves. People feel a sense of "security" in gold and as more people get into buying gold the prices will continue to climb. Ultimately there is no financial security as it can be wiped out overnight anyways. |

I doubt this is your first time on an online forum, or is it? Threads go off topic, it's a certainty. Replying to an off topic thread to let others know the thread is off topic isn't actually helping the thread get back on topic. I'm sure the OP started this gem of a thread with plans of making it great, but he hasn't exactly commented since starting it. ![]() Relax. :happy0180: |
