^The perks of having GT5. And I will be running the MKII bone stock at the Burg when I get home too.

GT5 is what off by how much when compared to real life? The few videos I have seen the GT5 car beat the real car.

8:24 is damn fast. So far I have just broken into the low 9's but that includes a few major mistakes (spins, ect). Lets see how far we can push this little beast!
O ya this is with a Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel and clubsport pedals with all assist off and no driving line. Pretty much as true to live as I can make it. |

Yea, in 5 laps on the Nurb, I've managed an 8'18.742 bone stock, stock tires. I can probably get that into the 17's, maybe into the 16's, but 15's is gonna be pretty ridiculous to get into. This little thing just begs to go faster and faster lol.

if these GT5 times translate to IRL times, its as if the car defies logic.
Subaru's Best time for the Manufacturer. '11 WRX STI R205 (320bhp/awd/OEM tires) driven by T.M. managed a lap in 7:55 and a what i believe is a comparable time bracket too official NBR times..if the translation from game to reality is accurate (or at least close). Thats pretty fucking amazing.

You know, we can kinda figure out if that's the actual lap time a close to the real thing or not by comparing to VLN Endurance race.
Their best lap was 10:26 (iirc)... so let's see anyone can get that time. |

VLN uses the combined lap (GP circuit plus the nordschleife) so the times aren't comparable.

That doesn't mean we can try out and see we can get close to that track time. GT have that course, why not try em out and see if stock FRS can get around same lap time as FRS used on VLN. If +-2~3 secs then we can say those Nur time is very close to the real thing.
