I see zero difference between the two cars, save for the tape jobs, aero, exhaust tips and wheels. Nothing of the body is different.

The mesh I mention is also of the large, overlapping style used by Five Axis (Toyota's go-to company for visually spicing up a production car into a concept). This, and the headlight shape, cause me to learn towards believing both mules we've seen are Toyota.

Pretty much stating the obvious there.

Id say its pretty obvious we will see either more picture or a video in the next few days. Its almost 100% they took more than 3 pics and almost 100% that they also had a video camera to hand as this is their thing.

It looks to me that the garbage bags are more like ad hoc fixes to cover up part of the grill opening to reduce air cooling efficiency on the radiator. Perhaps the testers are trying out a different thermostat, a differently sized radiator, or something else. But more likely, my guess is that they are simulating a smaller grill opening in preparation for alternative front end designs for the Subaru car.

Just noticed the colour of the reflectors(?)/indicators has changed from clear to orange above the front wheels on the arch. Not that this really matters, just an odd thing to change?

US DOT requires amber reflectors while clear is okay in many parts of the rest of the world.

The steering wheel looks massive.

Heres hoping for a flat bottom one.

The wheel diameter does look a bit big, but like TRDliquidsilver said, they're just using parts bin items at this time so it may not be production-intent.

That said, the Elise steering wheel is tiny, and IMO one of the best feeling tillers on Earth.

nope no nutswinging... you'll see soon enough I suppose. It may be a Toyota/Subaru colaboration but Toyota has a pretty big input in terms of funds and resources.

Subaru isnt very desperate for a new sports car... Toyota is the heart of this project.
