I indeed discussed this point with my lawyer, but he says that this point is absolutely irrelevant, as long as the car is fully road-legal (which it is, I have this certified).

Nonetheless it may be that I will get something line 1/3 fault quota, simply because I can not 100% prove that I was not at fault - sadly, dashcams are illegal here, otherwise there would not be the shadow of a doubt...

The thing that depresses me most is, that I can not start the repairs yet.
Sounds more like assault/attempted murder than an accident. I assume you had no luck finding a witness? Sorry to hear about it. I'd be pissed too.

To his defense, he restrained himself from touching me long enough to see the blue lights in the distance.

I have my girlfriend as a witness, and he has whom I guess to be his wife and daughters, probably supporting whatever his story is.

But of course none of the passing drivers stopped, and I was too busy not spinning into walls to note down any number plates.
Also, I don't have any "accident routine".
I have my license since 11 years (and some 3 years on a small motorcycle prior to that) and this was my first accident.

It is ironic that next to cat videos Russian dash cam videos of accidents are probably the most common thing on the internet but you can't have one to show a Russian is at fault.

Someone used the word "ironic" correctly on the Internet!!!! Something good came of this after all! Isn't that ironic?
