If anyone from Inchcape is reading this, print out the subaru.com.au homepage as it appears right now, write Nick Senior's resignation on the back, then leave it on his desk with a "sign here" sticker at the bottom.

This is a failure of monumental proportions.

I thought people were praising the advent of buying a car 100% online....

It went as expected, website crashes, frustration etc. You realise the dealers who took pre-orders have to go through this as well due to the no-dealer agreement? So it turns into a lottery.

edit: website crashes because I tried to add on SatNav. =(

Looks like the website is getting hammered. I would have thought those who put a $3000 deposit would get preference over general public at this stage? Surely?

I just contacted my dealer and he says Subaru already had my contract sent through on Saturday. I put down $3000 so I would be very surprised if I didn't get preference!

If you put the deposit down in the pre order you get preference. Like me
