Absolutely agree. Technically, I'm pretty sure I had the problem it was aimed to fix. In my case I felt semi-justified because the dealership charged me an outrageous "Doc Fee" when I bought the car (it was almost $800) that because of the First86 program and Pure Price I couldn't negotiate my way out of it. Also, , they refused to fix a real problem I had (weepy taillights) because I was a few miles out of the 32K warranty when it happened. (At least I tell myself that, and it allows me to sleep at night).

In the end though @Tcoat is right, you all helped pay for this, thank you.

It's sort of like "corporate income tax" and "free shipping". It's all built into the price of the product.

Not many reports on E85 so that is one way to kill them. They only like enough to get tipsy and happy not drop dead drunk.

Could someone keep a list of whos had this done and when? So we can all keep track of if this works over time or not.
@5AD86D maybe? Hell, I'd do it, but I'd need to make a new thread.

Quick up date: Drove over 300 miles on 93 octane and no crickets...plus it seemed...I don't know smoother. I'm not a mechanic or a tuner. I'm a driver. It just seemed everly so more responsive and nicer. I'll let you guys know more in a couple of days or so. Me, if you're at 50k get this TSB done.

Just tried to get this done at Longo Toyota, was denied because they won't have time. I would need to come back for this issue and this issue only. But come back with the car piping hot.

Update: I have an appointment with Toyota DSP for Thursday. Man they are trying to fight you on warranty work.

Dude. Youtube, search for "FRS Crickets" and you will get a ton of examples.
