My order number no longer works, checked it this morning around 6am, now it says details could not be found.

Mine is doing the same thing. I logged on here to see if anyone else is having the same issue, so must be across the board.

I did get confirmation from my dealer on monday that my car had a confirmed production month of November though so not fussed.

To be fair, Toyota did say 10 July '18 months plus for a GTS' so I would lay that at your Sales person for not informing you .. We must realise there would have been a massive 'spike' both on 4 June when the price was announced and again 18 June when the 86 was released

I called in this morning and saw my Sales Consultant, nothing I can do but wait so at least I know mine should be a 2013 model not that with the 86 it will make a difference! Planning now for the HKS titanium exhaust and also 17x8 alloys that will then give me FOUR spares!! Maybe i could get another colour earlier if there is a cancellation but once I saw 'Velocity Orange' in the flesh, no way! I'm happy now to wait!

Mine isnt a GTS mines a GTwhich was a 4-5 months wait.

hey guys, new to the forum here. I myself made an order early in June for a GTS and was promised a november delivery but now its been pushed back till next year according to my dealer Guess ill be joining the club of long-waiters

I called my dealer a month after ordering, in which he told me he can only sort of guarantee a June next year delivery. I ordered 23rd June for a GTS. Just put the damn car in the back of your head and you'll get it when you get it, or get another car. There is no point being bitchy and pushy to your dealer or to Toyota's Customer service reps. They didn't make the decision on Australia's allocation.

Gee mate I'd love you as a customer..... so when you have a problem you would go straight to the CEO of the company because they make the decisions? The long and the short of it is Toyota bullshits on about customer service and its quality systems.... it is not unreasonable for a customer to want to know when a product will be delivered within say a 60 day window even if its next year or 18 months away. They are using one factory to produce the 86....and they can't predict production rates???

If Toyota Australia can't negotiate allocations and predict production.... well they are a bunch of unprofessional managers and Toyota should stop advertising the car until they understand their supply chain.

I said no point being bitchy and pushy to dealers/reps. They have a job just like most people here do. These people go oh fuck another fuckwit with an 86 on order.
Its not their fault.

If I have a problem with a company, I'll let them know in a calm manner. I wont get shitty at the employees unless it is directly their doing that has caused my issues, or more issues.

Not only that, I bet the CEO didn't make the decision of how many 86' to order.
Now if they got the supply estimate wrong, they'd be flooded with cars that they cant get rid of, loosing thousands. If journo's didn't like the car, if they somehow messed it up completely before launch, it would be just another car on the road, and have normal demand.

We only want this car for three reasons. Its actually good, its cheap and its pretty.

My estimated pick-up got pushed back two days, to 7 November. I have been told it lands in Brisbane on the 17 October, then expected arrival at the dealer is the 31 October. Is the time they are quoting between port and dealer about right? Or are they just covering their arse?
