I've definitely noticed a high percentage of brzs to frses. I've only ever seen red at the dealers as preowneds. I've seen a few gbses, wrbs, swps, and cbses. I drive all over Austin, but due to living near 183 and McNeil and working in Round Rock I spend most of my commuting in North Austin.

You might see me at some point in my Ultramarine but I commute to Research Blvd daily and live in Round Rock. I saw a new asphalt BRZ yesterday with dealer plates near the HEB on green lawn along with another black BRZ. Nice seeing more on the road.

After letting my car sit for 1 week after going to Alaska last week, I was cricket free yesterday.... lol. Bet this won't last long.

I saw a post somewhere that said that 0% ethanol stopped the crickets, but that 10% did. I am unsure if this is real or just coincidence on the part of the person who made the correlation, but maybe??

It does work because of the lubrication non ethanol based fuel provides. The real fix is going to be a new (not revised) pump. I'll keep waiting. Hate the dealer touching my car.

yeah, i believe someone in the houston 86 club had confirmed that the ethanol is what was causing the noise. crickets tend to come and go away with the blends of gas we're getting with the changing of the seasons.

if anyone is thinking about getting an exhaust, i am running a nameless over/front pipe w/ HFC and perrin resonated catback if they ever want to hear this combo.

Looking for a place to have Sportline lowering springs installed in Austin. Shop in San Marcos just told me $1,016 just to install. No way I'm gonna pay that. Anyone know somewhere good?

Colven auto is where I got my coilovers put on. They were pretty cheap and did a good job.

Just checked out JC Auto in Round Rock. They want $900 for install. Geez. Hopefully I hear some good news from you all! I appreciate your recommendations.
