Hey guys, I've got a quick question.

I currently have a set of Weds SA70 18x8 5x100 with 245/35/18s on them. Would these fit directly on the BRZ?? Is it recommended to go staggered??

Thanks!

What is the offset? That's very important.

As far as a front/rear stagger, I don't think the BRZ is powerful enough to require it. A "square" setup is preferable. But if the wheels fit and have roughly the same diameter, running a staggered setup probably won't hurt

they'll poke further out by ~19mm. In all honesty, 245 is TOO wide for this car, and going staggered with wider tires in the back is in my opinion a bad idea on this car. It's ruins what was the goal of this car in the first place, playful balance.

If you want to retain the Dynamic balance on this car you'll need to keep the same sizes on all 4 corners. 225/40/18 is a perfect fit in my opinion. If you just want something aggressive looking then that's a different discussion.

I was thinking the same. I'll probably stick to something like 225's all around for this car. It'll save me some money on tires too in the long run.

Yea, some nice 225 summer compound tires and the car goes up a notch in grip, but can still toss it's cookies in stock form

thanks for the help! thats just my current set up for my WRX right now. but i do need two new tires so i was wondering how well it will be if i kept it at 245/35/18 all around and whether or not it will fit.

I'm think some 24's and a 2 foot lift kit and you're ballin! you'll have the lowest CoG in the four-wheelers club!

I'll run 18's for summer, the stock 17's will be winters! or downgrade and get some gabage 16's

Well 215s will save you even more money.

Width vs gearing and weight.. time will tell.. let me know how it goes I won't bother with 225s.. either 215/45 or 235/40 for me.

I have some worn 235/40 on 17x7.5 wheels. I'm test-fitting those first thing after I get the car.

Or better yet you should get back into a Honda mindset and go with 16s or 17s.

What width rims would best fit the 225 tire? Some of the 18" rims on offer seem to come in 18x8 or 18x8.5 (and nothing thinner). Would these be too wide for 225s? One autoblog review said that the front tires need to stay at 215...is that just false?
