Ecutek might be able to reset the throttle pedal to 0-80% instead of 0-100%?
Then you could have a flip top on the gear knob with a red button to press for 100%.

The 86 they are referring to is called the Type RC model it comes with unpainted bumpers, door handles, mirrors, no A/C, steel wheels, small brakes etc its for modifying or racing use

In Japan they offered 3 versions.
The GTS, GT, and the stripped down version. The last one was built for the wanting to race. It had steel wheels. No air con and a few other deletions.

Wow that is cheap! Only 2m yen? Back when I lived there (A long time ago), it was 130 yen - 1 dollar! Even with today's jacked up rates, it's still around 25k which is cheap. Back in the day that would've been like 16k US.
