Yeah, just wish I had one of those GoPro's instead of an iPhone 4S, lol. I tried! Absolutely loving the exhaust. It's got that perfect tone that you can hear without being obnoxious. Best part is, I know it will get louder as I upgrade further so having it at this level already is right where I want it.

That's incredibly quiet. I would assume the 2.5" axleback with 5" x 8" offset mufflers would be even quieter, similar to stock?

I had the 2.5" axleback on for a day before installing the downpipe. Overall pretty quiet but I was surprised at how loud it is at highway speeds under load while pulling up a hill. Not bad but louder than I was expecting.

I really like that bit around town, from my original 2.5" axleback, because it gives a sweet note from 2-3,000rpm with about 1/3 throttle but on cruise in 6th it's not quite so endearing.
It seems more of a resonance in 6th and I wonder if that's what the helmholtz resonator removes? Perhaps it harmonises with the induction to produce a resonance? Not offensive but not fitting either. Everything else about it is just perfect.

After further review and measurement, it seems I have the 2.5" Axleback. Going to double check with Jason on what was shipped.

I measured an 8.1" circumference and divided by 3.142 to get 2.57"

Unless my math is off... that's a 2.5" axleback. I measured the midpipe just to be sure and got 6.1" which resulted in just above 2" at like 2.057".

I had some pics of side by side but can't find them. There is a difference between both. Let me see if I can find them and then you can compare yours to the pics. The bends are different.

Edit:

Look at the bends after the split:

Here is The New Revision:

I just confirmed the order with Nameless and it was a 2.5" Offset Axleback. My original one was for the 3" Centered.

Thought he spoke to Jason and was talked into an offset version due to noise concerns.

Yeah, I was a bit concerned it would be a little too crazy, but the 2.5" vs 3", I didn't know I was getting. I'm not really too upset about it, but I went ahead and emailed them in regards to it.

This was my original invoice:

Not sure if I will pursue a new one. I really do like the 2.5" one I've got and it will probably fulfill what I need it to do even with a turbo.
