Oh okay. Sorry can't see signatures on my phone. Is your intake the Perrin bigMAF or the other one? Any plans to get aftermarket midpipe + overpipe?

Can I ask how much your shop charged you for installation? Just trying to gauge how much I would have to spend since I'm a complete noob and want this

Came down to 1.5 hour of labor: $177. I didn't spend too much time hunting for the best deal and wanted a place with "performance" experience. I'm sure you can find a "mom and pop" type of place that will do it cheaper. Nothing fancy as far as installation, just need a lift and a few tools...

Hate to rub it in for those of you waiting for delivery but the TOTAL absence of TQ dip is a complete delight. It dramatically improves the driving experience at low-ish RPMs. Finally feels like an acceleration worthy of the looks.

Gone is that ugly feeling when you're pulled into your seat when flooring it only to get pushed forward for a second then pulled backward again... I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about...

The sensor fell on the 1st pull and we didn't put it back in. I'll have the printouts later this week and will see if we got any reading on it.

What were the final numbers? From the picture you posted, it looked like:

164 whp @ 6200 rpm

Not bad at all for a Mustang dyno.

So... I really don't know anything about header design. But can someone explain to me how this header manages to obliterate the torque dip, pull strong at the top, without a tune, while maintaining a cat? Seems like all of the other headers still show a resemblance of the dip even with a tune.

I know that the better air flow allows for the better top end not sure on the torque dip elimination...I'm attributing the torque dip to poor OEM header design as most aftermarket headers get rid of it

It's the silicon hose that's connected to the stock airbox.
When new $$$ comes in, planning on upgrading the rest of the exhaust (I know, I did everything out of order but I'm an emotional buyer... Once I fall in love, I have to get it... FT86SF was just that).
Now that I see that this set-up is still relatively quiet (with the Evo3 silencers on), I'm considering dumping the cat in the FP. Maybe, the Nameless OP/FP combo with just the resonator to keep the drone away...

I don't have the printouts yet but I believe the 3rd pull was the highest (the screenshot I posted). Yeah, it shows 166 HP and 145 in TQ.
This was my first dyno so I don't have a baseline but all I was looking for was a flat TQ line. So... mission accomplished!
For reference, I found this post with a stock FRS on a mustang dyno. I do realize any dyno can be calibrated any number of ways but there's no denying that TQ dip.
