I sent a couple of PMs and emails to Shiv asking for guidance on this error; no response yet. Can't imagine that they have higher priorities than my issues . . .

Hey all I finally figured it out lol. Here is a 4th gear pull. I wasn't able to redline it but came pretty close. Could someone please leave me some input to see if my car is running safely? It feels great but don't want to run into problems down the road. Mods: Drop in filter, track pipe, stage 2 E85 EL map. How does everyone like the new tunes?? I'm still rocking the 1.42, I figured I would see if there were any kinks first.

Hoping to see launch control, if I remember correctly shiv was working on it around Christmas.

Launch control has been included for months now, along with flat foot shifting.

I'm unable to make a backup of my OFT with OFM 1.06 and firmware 121. Anyone else have this problem?

Known problem. Unneeded with the .dev files in all reality anyway.

Bring able to backup your stock file is definitely needed

I actually didn't consider that since I already have a backup with my stock file.

You can download your stock rom in the download section, just save it to your pc from there. Other than that there's nothing worth backing up on the device.

A few months ago I ran into a problem of unable to read/write to OFT at all (bricked?), and had to hard reset it and start from scratch, including re-reading the stock ROM from the car. I figure a backup will save me some time should this happen again.

you can backup you stock file using the download function

one of the first things I did as you definitely want a copy (or two) of your stock file in case the OFT bricks itself.

The backup does not work assume it would have backed up all setting and all tune files, but its not really needed as you can copy them down with the download function.
