I shook the hell out of the motor and didn't hear my header hitting anything, and I also shook the catback and didn't hear any noise. Just stumped on wtf it is lol. It has to be something though with the exhaust - I started getting the noise once I installed my JDL header.
Maybe a video would help. Are you sure it's not the belt?

Possibly in your terminiology/location. The kit in Australia is only offered with the intercooler.

What's also interesting is innovate supply the same pulley with their non-intercooled kit as sprintex do with their intercooled kit. The sprintex non-intercooled kit comes with a bigger pulley/less boost, and that's from a country without piss-water for fuel.

You can actually get which ever pulley you like, at least you can when purchasing in Australia.

I'll have a smaller pulley than most, as I have an under drive crank pulley.

I don't think Sprintex will warranty it below a 75mm (effective) pulley though. Might be worth checkin with them if anyone has a concern.

I'd think if it was the belt i'd hear the noise more constantly, and not at specific RPM/points.

I was thinking the tensioner might be on its way out. I could see that making noise only at certain speeds for the early stages of failure, but then again, it's just a guess.

Wait did someone just say the intercooled version of the kit is released now or they are still "testing" it?

Intercooled version has been available for a long time overseas. The person who said he got it is from New Zealand. The intercooled version is still not released or available in the USA.
