A major advantage of this method of forced induction is that it will make significantly more torque at lower engine speeds vs. other methods of supercharging (boost by RPM) or turbocharging (boost by engine load). This translates in to being able to utilize a higher gear ratio/lower engine speed while cursing thus, being able to maintain excellent fuel economy (similar to stock if driven conservatively) while still offering superb roll on power delivery when needed. Do not expect excellent fuel economy while exploring the latter, as it will be quite addicting.

I agree with industrial. when people ask for MPG it means driving the car in the most fuel efficient way and getting a number. Visconti's answer is immature.

guy:"hey Toyota" how many MPG on your brand new car?"
Toyota: "I don't know how heavy your foot is"

if you are trying to justify that DUMB answer you are as dumb. seriously.

I'd be interested to see who will be selling it. The Bullet export price is $5490 aud compared to Innovate's $3495 usd, or whatever. Big difference.

I see your point, but if someone is supercharging their car do you really think they're going to shift like a grandma 100% of the time? No need to get riled up on the internet over something so trivial. I don't think Visconti was trying to be an ass, sounds like to me he was half joking. Swearing at people and calling others dumb is immature. Although I guess a ballpark figure would suffice as well, so I agree with you there.

You made a big deal about your tune improving mpg a few months back and backed that up with testers so I think it's fair to ask if there is any data regarding the fuel hit one might see going with this system. If you have no data, there is nothing to say.
Again, it all depends on how you drive it.

My customers get 30-35 mpg on their BRZs .. When I drive I get 18...

What's different? The foot.

Making more power means your going to use more fuel.. So yes gas milage between 10-35mpg.. Again it's you and your foot that will determine this.

Ok then so the answer is 35mpg..

All the mpg ratings are done at 55mph I believe.. Putting a supercharger on a car isn't going to change how efficient the car is during cruise .. Maybe some drag from the super charger so 33mpg?

I have a number of customers that don't beat of their cars.. These customers have 500whps.. You can never assume how a customer is going to drive

so an appropriate answer to the initial post would be

before: depends on your foot
to after: if you drive conservatively, 30-35mpg or if you drive like a maniac, 10mpg

Ok.

Take the foot out of the equation. This is what we're asking. Say I average 32mpg over a tank of gas driving back and forth to work. Mostly (90%) highway driving at 75mph with a few sprints here and there. Assuming that everything else stays exactly the same except this supercharger, how much would mpg suffer?

Regardless, I think anyone installing this kit will be ditching the tires and there goes a big chunk of MPG anyway but I'm curious about the original question too.
