Injen Intake Bogging

I looked around and saw the reason below might be the reason for the bogging on the Injen Intake!

For those of you who has the bogging issues with the Injen intake, did you inspect your tubes? The very first one I got gave me bogging issues almost like it took .5 second for the throttle to respond to the pedal. I had bad weldings on the first pipe I received which probably disrupted airflow somewhat causing me to have issues in the first place.

I asked for a replacement pipe and this time it's smooth as butter and has not given me any issues ever since.

I saw that and to me it didn't make much sense as to how a bad weld in the intake could cause the car to bog down and he was talking about a little slow pedal response I think he said .5 sec others are stalling out at lights and not able to take off and some say it threw the car into limp mode. I had the changes done before I hooked it up so I'm not sure what is true and what is not mine has ok welds not as bad as the first pic but not as clean as the second. Not really sure but I think some of the claims might be a little exaggerated I think it is the best aftermarket intake out there.

Almost all the Five Axis cars I've seen have had this issue. I want to assume they used the same paint as the factory to paint the kit pieces, so I'm guessing its because it's a different material, so the paint comes out looking ever so slightly different in certain lighting. The only ones I've seen that look dead on color matched are black, blue, and lava.

Thanks Jasper. I think i'm sold on the Injen Intake. Any opinion on catback exhaust systems? I'm leaning toward the Borla exhaust.
