How is it different from any other item that isn't CARB approved?

I'm trying to understand your points here. They wouldn't be selling it with a fake CARB stamp, or with a promise that it would be CARB-approved. The purchaser knows it doesn't have a CARB stamp and it's their decision to buy or not. So how would it failing CARB approval mean they'd have to tell their customers to "eff off"?

Especially since all the customers that don't need CARB approval (the majority of the US and neighboring countries) don't care if the California Air Resources Board accepts Innovates offerings of cash and flattery or not.
See your own posts ^. You don't get to jump into a time machine and reinvent the past. In the three Innovate threads, you don't see any people whining including this one? Really? You obviously think the kit should be released now regardless of CARB and that the company should not be concerned about supporting it regardless of the potential consequences. Obviously if the vendor agreed w/ you, the kit would be out now, it isn't. This is based on your own words, not someone else's. So just own it, and drop it already.

This ^. Not to mention increased sales. I know people who will only buy a CARB certified part. If you can get it, makes no sense not to.

I know it's frustrating to those outside of California but California is a huuuge market so its needs are not insignificant. They've even started doing mobile CARB/smog inspections for random pullovers...

Who's reinventing the past now? I posted my initial post, then your escalation in the order they were posted without trying to imply another post predated another.

I'm done responding to your provocations now. Congrats, you won an argument on the internet. I don't care. I've said my piece and I've been very clear, despite your attempts to spin them to fit your personal agenda.

Why do you think they're blowing up their engines? 91 is more knock prone...

If this kit is really waiting for CARB certification before going to market it could still be months off the release. How did some of these people get a kit? Ill take a tuner version now. Time to call the company I guess.

Here in The People's Republic of California, there's an unelected group of lawmakers who control what is and is not legal for use on public highways. We call them CARB.

CARB is an acronym, stands for California Air Resources Board. If you want to have an aftermarket part certified as legal for California highways, you ask nicely, prove that your part doesn't make the emissions worse, prove that the part isn't easily modified in such a way (adjustable) to make the emissions worse, and then bribe them with large sums of money. Then CARB generates an Executive Order number that you can slap on your shiny new part to show an inspector that your part is CARB Certified.
