I have a sneaky feeling that all the footage he took came out skipping. When I uploaded it to my computer it was still skipping and the time signature looked correct.

I have a gopro too (hero 3 that I've used in my vr4 and scuba diving)... if you look at the raw footage on an insufficient computer, it will be choppy.

I'm a go pro newbie, the one time I used my go pro, it split up the videos into 17-18 minute segments. Am I able to make it record as one massive file?
