Are you talking about the JDM Quads? or the USDM Triangles? The USDM I heard was 4 more, and 9 if you have an intake system, this is from another thread I read some where. The Japanese one obviously has a bit more gain but I don't know by how much. This is untuned here I found the thread

I got it with the order on the car. Still not sure. I haven't heard much about it on the forums, so I have my doubts. But, its already paid for and will be installed hopefully on thursday. Though he hasn't mentioned it, I haven't heard anything bad form Pure Automotive(Brady). But, I'm going through him for everything forward. Sorry. Can't help with the gains.

If nothing else, you will have an exhaust that no one else around here has, that alone is worth something.

It's a nice Exhaust too from what I gather, really nice sound and it's OEM so cops can't ticket you. Pretty neat.

The tips are really cool. Pricey for what it is, but certainly less common.

Same exhaust we heard at the FR-S First Drive event? If so the exhaust sounds great and has good tips.

I'll check employee pricing on it tomorrow then. Then the debate starts between two items.

I hear that event they did at M&T all of the cars had the TRD catbacks on them. I was heavily considering the TRD one for awhile, and still am to an extent, but I have yet to see any dyno proving on it specifically. Perrin has a good sound and is the route I will likely go, but something about factory performance is alluring to me. More research to be done I suppose, but they really have a great sound.

I have looked all over the forum for real dynos of the TRD and have never found them, points to anyone who can!

That seems like a great price, but for that price you could get a 3" exhaust with dual outlets that would make you ready for a Turbo If you were to ever get one
