Yeah I was only saying that to point out the stupidity of the Tech, since obviously there are quite a few people who have done exactly that Clearly there's an issue with his ODBII port (or ECU?).

Pretty sure he said Big Two, same as where I've had to take mine numerous times.

Awful techs, but then again, it's a dealership so that's par for the course.

Mine does not work when plugged in unless I tug the cable back towards me and up. I actually tape it in place with gorilla tape when flashing or making a data log. Although Ninjin's worked on mine.

I got the new Black Berry today and it is pretty cool and the battery that is virtually unkillable in one day is really nice. Just thought I would share if anyone was looking at getting one it is definitely a big step up from my galixy

Mine wont give a reading at all. I used autozones and Ninjins and got nothing. Im gonna use my digital volt ohm milliamp meter to see if im getting power at the port. The techs act like its nothing because im not using their equipment, and they say I throw more codes when I hook up a different obd or if I unhook battery. But I know there is some kind of power issue there where it doesnt send any signal. If an obd can read one frs why cant it read another frs? Bunch of BS.

Ya. It was at Big Two. Not going there anymore! That was my thought was an issue with either odbii port or my ecu. But the techs scanner worked on it so they dont think theres a problem there. Im gonna be making formal complaint to Toyota about this issue.

That is a pretty common issue it is with the plug they had to replace mine to flash the ecu becuase it wasn't working properly.
