For anybody that is tired of the wait, I'm moving on from the ESC and my V1.5 with batteries is available on the classifieds. It's fully legit and ready to ship. I'm considering all offers:

I just want to thank everyone that is on the wait list ahead of me for helping make a refined product by the time my number is up. Lol.

Is the average wait time for people at the bottom still around 18 months or has that increased with demand?

Well I'm in the top quarter and I have been on the list since April 2015. So thats 18 or so months already.

I already have a used kit but I want a twin setup for shits and giggles.

I'd like to see that too. How would you manage the intake? Also the pipe going to the throttle body? Some Y-pipe setup?

Parallel or sequential? how are you going to handle tuning?
Max speed of the motor seems to max out boost at ~5 psi, so parallel with two you might be able to push 5psi up to redline. I have no idea what would happen in a sequential setup.

My guess for the easiest way to tune would be to use something like Delicious Tuning's "FNG" tune so you don't have to worry about the MAF. However, I know nothing in this area so I could be way off.

Also, can SC's run in sequential the same way turbos can? Seems like the second SC would just be maintaining the pressure instead of increasing it, still having the top-end drop off.

Welp, I'll be damned:

That's making 11psi, which certainly makes this interesting because if you wanted to stay safely on stock internals you'd want that a little lower (just guessing from what I've read) so if it was tuned down to 7-8psi you would get longer charge out of them while pushing the same amount of boost as traditional SC's with no parasitic effect. This is only going for about 30 seconds though and I don't know if that's because he stopped it or the battery drained in that time.

Can someone that actually knows what they're talking about chime in on this so there's not too many people that read my ignorance as truth?

Speaking of!! I think someone needs to add one to a turbo. Lag bye bye! As the supercharger loses boost the turbo will take over, right!

I'd heard that Shiv ran 2 ESC's on his R8, and saw a picture of it once. They were side by side andnit looked like each SC pushed 4 cylinders. So maybe in the boxer engine you could run 2 throttle bodies parallel and have 1 ESC per 2 cylinders... 😎😎😎

I can't see the video at work but if it is the old sequential setup Rob tried, then yeah, I remember it was more boost than you could safely run stock: motor, fuel, clutch all start becoming a factor. The parallel setup should theoretically run the same max boost as our current single setup, just with twice the air volume. And as our boost drops down to about 2.5 psi at max revs we should see double that. It might be a more complex setup, maybe with backflow valves, but not too expensive to play around with if you already have two ESC's.

I am still running dual original Panasonic dump packs with a relocated starter. From what I heard the new battery 2.0 setup provides similar output to the 1.5 setup. What I am trying to say is that if you swapped out my dual 1.0 dump for two sets of the new 2.0 dump, and then hooked them up as one dump pack for each ESC, you should be fine. I think it is too complex possibly unreliable and I am too cheap to experiment with it, but it should work without tons of battery weight or huge cables. you would still have to custom mount the second esc controller and splice the throttle switch into both controllers so they operate at the same time, but with the proper piping, it shouldn't be too much work.

Financially?.. well we'll just say that it's good that these things seem to hold good value to resale for when he is done experimenting.
