Here's a video I shot at the Road America event this past weekend. It was raining all day and this was the 2nd session, so everyone was taking it fairly easy, but I got a chance to follow an F430 (well, more like attempt to follow) around the track. Overall, it was a ton of fun despite the rain, and the car performed great.

P.S.: Sorry about video quality. It's just an old Hero HD and I had to reduce the file size for youtube.

Thanks, and yeah, wish I would have registered for both days, so I can enjoy the dry track, but I had a great time regardless. That GT was beast!

Another awesome event in the books, DD46 was a blast and I learned so much about how to drive this car. I have a lot of room for improvement as a driver, cant wait till next year!

I got to work today just in time to see a guy driving a 10 series park in the spot i always park in. I waved and parked next to him, but only got a doubletake as he walked away.

No kidding, I didn't know 10 series are out there already! How did it look?

That would be me. I would have stayed and talked but I was late to an appointment. And my bad about not waving back. Didn't see if you did or not.

I even took a really poor photo.

It looks good. I would have liked a different color personally, but the rest of it is nice. I didn't peek into the windows too much, but I noticed the keyless doors and lights right away.

It's good. I waved quickly as you were exiting. The car looks good. I just thought It was funny that you were parking in the exact same stall I always park in (by the curb away from everything) for probably the same reason as I do... Fear of door dings. I already got one when I parked by dominicks for a minute to grab something. Thank god for PDR.

Do you have any mods planned?

I'm indifferent about the color. The silver ignit10n color sometimes looks cool when it looks blue in indirect sunlight, but it looks plain silver in regular sunlight.

I pretty much ended up getting the 10 series because it had the push start and the auto climate center stack like the BRZ. Though the GT86 lights were a nice plus. BRZ was out of the picture for me because the regional Subaru of America rep is/was an unreasonable person during our previous run ins regarding warranty work.

I actually got a horribly bad door ding in my old STi from that same lot so I park far from everyone there.

As for mods, it's a bit up in the air until SEMA is over this year as my employer is tied up with that at the moment. But expect to see a build orientated towards trying to blend autox and drift into the same package with possibly some forced induction involved.
