Ah okay. This means more "learning time"?
But overall i think it is looking good.

I finally decided to start logging to "fine tune" my tune... and this happened.

Is this a bad connection to the OFT or what?

I'm using the OBDII Y splitter cable from amazon recommended by many people here, and the other end is connected to a P3Cars vent gauge.

http://www.datazap.me/u/tatovalverde...&mark=117&hg=5

Help please

logging is very intensive on ecu so the oft will need exclusive access to ecu the ecu prioritises and if it runns out of time it drops logging so it can run engine

also the to devices may use same addressin on can buss and interfere with each other

I would suspect as steve99 said. Y splitter is not ideal to use with OFT at least in my case. I had similar issue when I tried y splitter with oft and obdii bluetooth for torque app. It sure seems like interferes each other when both are hooked up together.

I'll try again next weekend, hopefully i can get some clean pulls. Thanks!!

And on another note, I'm bringing my car to the shop tomorrow, and last time it was there, they took it out for a test drive, going pretty hard... Since I don't want anyone going on joyrides with my car, i thought i would make a map with the rev limiter at 3000rpm (3000rpm limiter, 2950 resume).

Is this dangerous? Any downsides? Or is there anything else I should change?

Thanks!

You could always just limit the throttle

I disconnected the Y cable, and the log looks good now =)

Can you take a look at it? It's a 3rd gear pull in a slight uphill.

http://www.datazap.me/u/tatovalverde...-5-6-7-9-11-12

Also, about the map for the shop.. If anyone is trying to do it, remember to disable LC, because i didnt and it kicked in at 1000rpm lesson learned

So I've been reading your threads and Wayno's threads on MAF scaling... is that java program from RomRaider's forums the best option to go with? Or is it better to tweak the tables manually?

Hey guys, my hosting provider is having DNS issues. They've identified the problem apparently so hopefully Datazap will be back up shortly! Sorry for the inconvenience

Hi,

I've done dyno runs while finding cam timings.
Considering how to enhance 6600~ rpm.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.

What cam timings did you get in the end?

Could probably make a bit more by targeting a bit richer to allow a little more timing advance. Dyno chart looks quite good though. Why the request at 6600? Due to the way the power drops off? If so, not much you can do.
