I wonder what will happen with the cars that arent bought, you think the dealer is allowed to call up the next person on their list?

Guess that's a question for two weeks from now. I figured they'd go to the "drooling reserve" list of the First 86, but perhaps they will just sell it at the dealership.

Spoke to my Scion dealer today and he said it would be here in early May. He said they would only get 3 cars for the year.

If I remember correctly, aren't we supposed to get an e-mail from Scion telling us to go to the dealership & sign a letter giving our purchase intent now the price has been released?

My dealer said that if i dont buy it he will, and he will then classify it used and jack up the price... I hate dealers

Just go on the trip, drive it, and decide a couple days before delivery. They have to let you test drive YOUR car, so technically you could walk in, drive it and say no on the spot.

Believe me I would love to go, but I don't think Scion would buy me a ticket from halfway around the world, lol!

I heard it was 20 to 30 thousand.. Maybe i heard wrong. My dealer didnt take a deposit.. But i thought the deal was we could decide if we were gonna buy once the car itself came into the dealership

talked to my dealer yesterday... He wasnt even aware of the long beach trip, but he confirmed that they are recieving the first 86 car
