I bought them from a forum member who is parting out. They are parts from the base 86 in Japan which can be ordered online. The parts cost about $50 based on my searches. You can change over a lot of parts to black, see this post\thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1831994&postcount=22

SU00303190 COVER, PLASTIC - Shift Surround - ~$10
SU00302486 SWITCH - Manual Transmission Switches - ~$35
SU00302487 SWITCH - Automatic Transmission Switches - ~$45

Today, in addition to the black shifter bezel install, I CF wrapped my HVAC surrounds (the other parts were done weeks ago), last thing left is steering wheel trim and air vents. I might go black with these parts instead of cf wrap, same with chrome door handles. I'm really starting to like this interior now.

I've been delaying putting on the winter wheels and Blizzaks as long as possible because I don't want to wear them out on dry asphalt. About how many miles are they good for?

What I didn't realize when I attempted this is you need to remove the fog lights and you need a heat gun.

With the fogs removed, you will see that the slight excess film wraps around the edges of the clear plastic that you can't see while the fogs are installed. The film does not rest flush on the outside edge, but when heated up you can make it rest flush.

Removing the fogs is easy but a little annoying, just turn your steering wheel, remove 3-4 clips, pull back fender plastic, remove 2 screws holding the fog in, remove bulb wire/plug and pull out. Pay attention to which side each fog light came out of and the orientation.. When I put one of mine back in it was upside down and the light was blinding, I then flipped it and it looked like the other.
I removed the 3 screw clips on the fender liner and can pull it to see the fog light, but not enough to actually get to it. I'm just wondering which tabs you had to remove to be able to pull the fender liner back ?

Trying not to break shit lol

Realized my question was already answered...

Anyway, just drove my car around finally for the first time after installing the GrimmSpeed CAI. It is a world of difference. Especially in the higher RPMs.

IIRC, you remove the clips and then pull the liner out about 10" above where the last clip is. This will give you more access to get in there. Its going to be snug and annoying to do.

Thanks @GrimmSpeed for such a great product!
And so it begins....
Congratulations on entering a world of trawling the classifieds and Craigslist/ebay/kijiji for aftermarket parts and things to tinker with, or tools that will cause your significant other to roll their eyes when you explain how you "absolutely must have that aluminum racing jack".

I'm definitely going the @GrimmSpeed route with everything. Getting the strut bar and pulley cover. Also anxiously waiting for their pulleys! As for exhaust, I might go the Perrin route, but if GrimmSpeed starts making them 😱
