What I didn't realize when I attempted this is you need to remove the fog lights and you need a heat gun.

With the fogs removed, you will see that the slight excess film wraps around the edges of the clear plastic that you can't see while the fogs are installed. The film does not rest flush on the outside edge, but when heated up you can make it rest flush.

Removing the fogs is easy but a little annoying, just turn your steering wheel, remove 3-4 clips, pull back fender plastic, remove 2 screws holding the fog in, remove bulb wire/plug and pull out. Pay attention to which side each fog light came out of and the orientation.. When I put one of mine back in it was upside down and the light was blinding, I then flipped it and it looked like the other.
Yeah I was hoping to not have to remove the fog lights. I will probably take the safe route and try to remove them.

Thanks for responding!

I didnt want to either but it's literally impossible to do it cleanly without removing them.

Here's pics from my install:

I'm kind of on the fence with tinting in NY because some people seem to have so much trouble with them (from the cops) and some people have straight up limo tint and seem to be just fine.. or very lucky
i ran limo tint for a solid year. i do a lot of local driving and only had one encounter with the cops and they let me go with a warning luckily. Remember if you have anything darker than 70% tint, they can give you a ticket per window. And yes, they do have a meter that can be used on the rear and hatch windows. When the cop pulled me over, I was at 3% all around. He said it would be a $150 per window so at least 4 windows. But now its winter and i removed my front window tints so now i dont have to roll down the window and freeze. I have limo all around on my Prius and yet to have a problem and its been like that for 2 years. sportier cars will always attract more attention.

Finally installed the GrimmSpeed Cold Air Intake. I am so happy with it. First time doing anything to a car and yes, it took me hours, but worth it.

Thanks @GrimmSpeed for such a great product!

Got the winter setup bolted up. Think I need 2 new blizzaks because the front seems to want to push real bad with the new Bilstien B14s.

Replaced the OEM gasket I used for the header to overpipe connection. The part of the gasket that crushes when you tighten it up didn't fully crush because the JDL header flange is bigger than the OEM gasket. I didn't even think to check when I put it together.

After that, I installed my SRP throttle pedal. Heel-toe is even easier now

Also, I washed my car and snapped some quick pics.
