Complete details usually take me a minimum of 8-9 hours. I'll be using a DA this time (first time), so we'll see if that speeds things up. I did wash and dry the car twice so far (I didn't want the stench of Iron-X staying, and the yet the paint still has a slight odor). lol

Every time! I taste a sample, like it enough to buy it, and when I get home and eat it, it doesn't taste the same! lol. Well, the chocolate covered almonds tasted the same. hahaha

What's the Iron-X for? Is that a polish?

I wish I could eat almonds!

Iron x lifts up iron deposits (rail dust). Those orange/rust spots embedded in the clear/paint.

I just got done swirl x'ing the car...gonna be lazy and not polish since I still gotta wax.

Troll points achieved! Was sitting at a light and some guy in a Ford Ranger coming from the other direction leans out of his window and yells at the top of his lungs "it's a Ford... IT'S A FORD!" while shaking his head. I sit there and smile 😈

Took a drive down Hwy 1 today from SF to Pescadero for a lazy day. Ended up running into a group of older guys who had parked a bunch of ferraris, aston martins, and some other cars. Funny thing was about three or so hours later on my way back up I ran into them again. The youngest guy was in a black Aston Martin and we stopped alongside each other at an intersection. I gave him a nod and he returned deuces. Thought that was kinda cool, just car guy to car guy.

I finally got the gopro suction mount thingy, so I tried it today. My gopro didn't last very long though :\ Might need another battery since this one died so fast. Positioning/angle needs some work, but not too bad.

It was really fun! The road was pretty clear between Pescadero and Half Moon Bay. Plus it was fun seeing some other people with cool cars taking advantage.

Next time I might try going from Pacifica to Santa Cruz or something like that because I didn't go overly far.

The tunnel is pretty nice! I remember a bit how the old Devil's Slide road used to be. Though I'm kinda curious how it was to drive, especially with these cars.

BTW sort of related/tangental question: my GoPro battery was pretty much fully charged, but I was only able to take like 30-40 mins of video before it died. Is that about the usual amount? I haven't used it much so I'm not used to knowing how much I can get out of it. Thinking I might need to order another battery.

yeah the GoPro batteries are pretty weak, definitely plan on getting spares. I have probably like 4 extras to help me get through a whole track day, you can find deals online for a charger + 2 battery combo probably for around $20. Generic/knockoffs though, not real GoPro accessories.

There's a lot of craft beers that come in cans now, so that's an option for you in the future....

Better than drinking Coke..

lol. I don't like canned beers. They've always tasted odd in comparison to the bottled counterparts.

I don't really drink Coke, but that's what we had today (my dealership grills burgers and hotdogs for everyone on a holiday weekend). I have my fruit infusion water bottle thing that I refill and go through about 4 refills a day. I was feeling extra tired today, so I figured a Coke would help. haha

I'm surprised to hear that you've had a negative experience when drinking craft beer from a can versus the same beer from a bottle.

I'm a pretty firm proponent of craft beer in cans and I haven't been able to identify any downsides versus bottles.

The can protects the beer from light and oxygen exposure, and the inside of the can is coated, so the liquid isn't actually in contact with aluminum.

Not to mention it's lighter, so it's easier to transport (and recycle) versus glass bottles. It's also more accessible in places that glass isn't allowed like beaches.

Regardless of the packaging type, you should always be decanting your beer and enjoying it in a glass if at all possible.
