Yeah, not too much going on up there yet. They've got that Nissan Titan in there that they're still fitting their supercharger onto. And they have a display with a few different SC models and some that are partially dismantled so that you can see the insides of them. They have some parts stocked as well. Picked up an 85mm pulley while I was there paying for my CARB tune. Got the sticker. Chris did mention that they are planning on getting some dynos set up there for testing and tuning purposes, but didn't have a completion time. It will be a nice place to work when it's all up and running at full steam. |

Picture of the sticker, or it didn’t happen.

Nice. I was hoping to see a EO# to look up the Executive Order document.

The number doesn’t come up yet on CARB’s database. I couldn’t find the Executive Order pdf online.

I’m not sure if this has been previously addressed, so I’m asking here. Please forgive me if it has already been discussed and if you could point me to a link to that discussion, I would be grateful.
Re-previewing the installation manual for my Harrop kit, I found a bit of an oversight on the part of the manufacturer: On page 10 of the manual, picture 5.h shows the OEM MAP sensor installed onto the supercharger, as you can see in the first picture below. Then on page 13, in picture 6.m they show a picture of an aftermarket OMNI 3 bar sensor, also shown in the other two pictures below. Knowing that the 95 mm pulley will produce about 8 psi, which will give an absolute pressure of 22.5 psi (or 1.55 bar), and also knowing that (according to EcuTek) the OEM MAP sensor has a limit of 1.37 bar, the obvious question is why have they not included a new higher limit MAP sensor in the kit? My second question is with their CARB tune, what MAP sensor is required for this installation since the OEM sensor would be insufficient for proper operation? The stock map sensor only reads like 3psi, but the Harrop CARB tune is based off the MAF, so that is how they get away with that. If you want to run a custom tune then check with your tuner. Delicious Tuning, for instance, uses the MAP sensor, so they would need you to purchase a larger map sensor.
Also, the CARB tune is off the 8psi 95mm pulley. The 85mm pulley yields 11.5psi.
