I acquired a couple of rock chips on the way to work. One on the driver's side mirror, one on the roof where the glass ends and the roof begins.

It seemed as though a gravel truck lost half of its load going down the freeway, and as I was driving I was reminded of the Millenium Falcon negotiating the asteroid field. I could see the rocks coming at me.
Without the Wookie noises, it wasn't nearly as cool an experience.

I've got a B40 ( https://dashcamtalk.com/b40-a118/ ).
A newer model is out with a capacitor instead of a battery, and that's the more popular choice.
If I were to buy again, I might get a CDV300X ( https://dashcamtalk.com/cdv300x/ )

Browse https://dashcamtalk.com/ for all your dashcam needs...

I run that same oil cooler for 2 years now. Love it. Pay attention to the gasket though bellow the sandwich plate and the little plugs for oil temp/pressure gauges. Mine leakers after a while no matter what I did. Ended up getting a tube of Toyota gasket sealer and been leak free for 18months so far. Still check weekly though cause I'm a perfectionist lol.

What does an oil cooler actually do and what would we need it for really? Just curious.

thanks for the heads up and the advice....I put teflon tape on the threads but I might just go ahead and put some gasket maker just to be safe. I was definitely weary of those npt screws on the sandwich plate from the git go.
