Ninjin's comment is seconded. Had a blast tonight, even recruited another FRS owner to the forums. It's great how much you can learn about your car by taking it around a real track.
My video will follow in the morning, I'm tired now.

I have no pictures worth saving last night, and my video is currently being processed, then will be uploaded to YouTube and linked here. Hopefully when Brent gets up, he can upload his pictures from last night, he got some good ones.

Hey guys - this is extremely random, but if there are any folks on here that live in the state of NM, could you please drop me a message?

Considering making a move out there from the east coast and I am just trying to learn more about the area. If you had any pointers for an out of stater, let me know!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, the right tool for taking pictures at a night track event is probably a full-frame DSLR with a crazy fast lens. What I had was a point and shoot.

Here's the album, and these are the "good" pictures, LOL: https://plus.google.com/photos/10733...31388031323601

On-car video was a bit disappointing too, they both had focusing issues. At least you can make out how the track goes. I'd recommend skipping to the last third in both of them, I started to get more precise about driving the right line towards the end of that session, and the beginning has some traffic.

Overall, it was a great event. Everyone there was friendly, and didn't seem to mind much having to pass our cars on the stock tires. It was a good, casual and safe track event. They do these monthly, and I'll probably be going back soon. (but maybe with the autocross tires on!)

Looking good.

Hopefully no one will copy you since those hoses are such a pain in the ass to install.

Not sure if anyone remembers that guy with the red frs at the pavs that had the popping intake. The more I read it looks like he may have had this leaking fuel rail issue that causes a lean condition and has destroyed a few engines.

Is that the issue with the DI seals burning out due to 5200+ RPM ignition timing during shifts?
