People's Reaction to Your New FR-S

Honestly I have gotten the "it's cute" from about 4 different girls. I also have gotten the "you traded the Ferrari in for a Scion?", which I don't regret. And I have also been told it is a nice looking car and i have received a thumbs up. Personally I used to hate the "cute car" comment with any of the cars I have owned but at this point in my life I don't care. If a girl thinks my car is cute it probably isn't a bad thing.

I traded in my Ferrari, Lambo, Radical, Aston Martin, and TVR for the FR-S and so many dudes are all up on me now. Before the Abercrombie guys were like

"bruh nice carbon ceramic brakes."

Now when I roll up in the FR-S they tell me,

"Bruh that car would be dope with a 3" drop and body kit"

So basically I am trying to get the right combo of wing/body kit and colored wheels. Will update post soon.

Yes I did. I had a 92 348. After taking a look at the recommended procedures mechanically that needed to be done (including the $10,000 major engine out service) as well as the cosmetic things it needed i decided it was better if I sold it. In my case I traded it but same thing. I was making payments on it and my payment dropped by 300 and since we added a third car to our insurance policy (the Ferrari was on its own collector insurance) the insurance rate from our Jeep and Acura didn't change. We just are no longer paying for the Ferraris which actually was only 45.00 a month.
So overall I am now saving 350 dollars roughly a month as well as almost 150 on gas since I am not driving my Jeep anymore unless I have to.
And again I have no regrets. I am genuinely loving my FR-S.

Exactly.

But anyway, third cousin doesn't really rate on the awkward scale. 1st cousins, sure, even though that's legal in a bunch of states too. 2nd, borderline. But third? Heck, I don't even consider my third cousins to be relatives.

getting back on track....

I still get some good reaction and peeps hatin' on the FRS. Hater's gonna hate. We must forgive those that trespass against us.

I was cruising down The Strand southbound at Oceanside. It is the road literally next to the water on the West Coast. Peeps sit on their lawn or driveway watching the peeps on the beach just feets away. I drive by and get lots of looks and turned heads. Someone stopped me just the other day to admire the car and give me props and fist bump.

Peeps hatin on the car call it "the new Tercel". "Hey, nice miata!"

This week:

1) Dude in car, drives up, "YO what car is that?"
2) Cop tells me to roll down window (I'm like SHIT, he's going to book me for my tint!), "Is that a Toyota? Great choice, I would of got it too instead of the Subaru, it looks way better." (made me smile, he had great taste)
3. Guy walked past my car and stops in front of his Genesis Coupe and looks back at my ride and frowns at his, and goes in his car
