The other is a bit more subjective in the simple fact that nobody has made that statement before. I would think that something that high a profile would have been plastered all over here by now if it made that big a difference!
If it was some small easy to do change there would be a pile of very happy guys on here.
I feel bad because we're getting way off topic but tonight on the way home from work tried a few pulls from about 2k (harder to be under that without bucking or bogging) to redline in 2nd and 3rd. The tach climbed steadily in all attempts without a pause and there was no felt hesitation in acceleration.

When I get back next week I'll try to get a video of it.

The amount of butthurt (pun intended) over minute suspension differences in cars these days is ridiculous. The FR-S is a stiff sports car yes, but no more so than the GT-R, lotus, brz and other cars I have driven.

I swapped my FR-S to RacecompEngineering BRZ springs, only a tiny perceived improvement. Swapping to fatter 245/40/17 tires also helped.

Biggest issue is shitty roads and there is not a whole lot any sports car can do about that.

I usually blast through the dip pretty quick too though. It only exists for a fraction of a second (it isn't the 5 minute operation some seem to think it is) and is barely noticeable during street driving.
Don't get me wrong I would like nothing more then for you to be correct!
(OH, and OP has already said he got what he wanted from the thread so a little divergence is not hurting anything)

Yeah OP enjoys your conversation as it is still relevant to the differences between '15 and previous '86 cars.

Really.. cuz I put 10 12" by 12" slabs of concrete, 2 bags of sand, and a few tools in my trunk the other day and it took it like a champ. I was so focused on the task at hand I didn't really think about what I was doing until I was in the parking lot with a cart full of concrete... It worked though. I really should have taken a pic for the "what can you fit in your brz" thread.
