Him slamming on his brakes like that is against the CVC and can be considered a criminal offense. Not that they would do anything, but you can burn the video on a disc and give it to the local PD.

I would have, if only I could get a clear shot of his license plate. Unfortunately my dashcam doesn't deal very well with low light/reflected light (off the license plate). That and it's developed an annoying blurriness on the right side.

Hardware issue? Or smudges on the lens? As far as dim light performance, I think there was only one cam out there that does well in that.

I think it's the infamous Blackvue "crooked lens" issue. I'm too lazy to try to fix it, and don't have money set aside for a replacement if I botch the "fix" (take pliers and rotate the lens).

Gopro fisheye makes it look way better, but I was within a second of slamming into an SUV overtaking on a blind bend in a no overtaking zone, just to be one ahead at the 20+ car line at the stop.

Oh man I know the 580/Dublin blvd/Dougherty intersection(s) well. Getting on and off the freeway you always have to watch for the idiot who is in the wrong lane. You would think that exiting the freeway people would know to be in the correct lane to make the next left, but I swear 30% of the time I got somebody that wanted to drive through my car and acted indignant that I was in their way.

I hope this isn't too bad thread necromancy but I had a few more awful ones to post. There is light swearing in a couple.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmVld3Dis9g"]Calling the Karma police.[/ame]

Instead of waiting just a moment to pass me on the left he flew over from the far left into the exit lane, sprayed me with gravel (I have a nice tiny chip at eye level now) and continued to zig zag about like an ass.

Just over the bridge, by San Quentin it looks like karma caught up with what looked like some front passenger side damage. Hit debris while trying to pass in the bike lane maybe?

Had a truck a couple of weeks ago loose it's wheel and looked like hub as well. I saw a bunch of sparks and smoke behind me in my lane. I am not sure if he hit the center divider first or his wheel coming off caused him to hit it.

if the video does not start near end skip to 2:40 and look to the right.
