I'm fairly open to a lot of designs no matter how drastically different they are (there's a set of taillights that make the rear of these cars look exactly like Grumpy Cat), but the Buddy Club's since Day 1 are the ONLY taillights that made me LOL. I had faith in the community's ability to overlook them as completely uninspired ripoffs.

My faith is gone.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and don't have very strong opinions about most things, but the Buddy Club's rub me the wrong way particularly. I can see how someone wouldn't like the INTEC taillights (or any taillights, really). I hated them when I first saw them months ago. However, I didn't come into this thread and dump all over them. It's fine if you don't like something, but at least explain your reasoning.

I find the INTECs kinda freaky, making the rear look a bit buggy, but it's much less pronounced in black, which is why I'm heavily considering them.

This is generally how I feel. I don't hate buddy clubs, but I have stock tails because A) Broke & B) Nothing I've seen I've wanted. The closest I came to pulling a trigger was on an Ebay special that was like $230. The thing that stopped me was thinking about every where else I'd spend the money... Like on an exhaust... which I even justified not buy and regret not doing so when I had the chance.

I do like the Raven 86 and the Asphalt with these tails. It feels more complete on darker colors to me. I've seen buddy clubs look amazing on a raven car too.

Different strokes for different folks. Remember it's not our care, but theirs. They SHOULD be proud of it because it was built for THIER tastes. Not ours.

"Before installing them onto the car make sure you repin the lights, to do this you will want to switch the yellow and blue wires."

I agree with @nphillip so far it looked cool on black cars only!
The reason it didn't work quite as well on other lighter colors is because of the gaps surrounding it are too big, they simply ruined and killed the integrated and simplistic look, which was the main design aspect of this product...

To summ it up I think it works quite well in the following colors combo:
1- Black on Black
2- CF almost will work on all colors specially on White.
3- Dark Grey on Dark Grey

As for me personally I'll sadly turn away from these, my FlamingRed 86 will have to keep its OEM tail-lights for now...

PS: : Excuse my English, its a 2nd language to me.

Cobalt? The lights are clearly Ferrari style. I like them painted body color.

NOT street legal - No side marker lights.

Question for the group, especially those who have installed these lights, are they NOT street legal? No side marker lights. Those who have these lights, have you ran into any issues regarding the fact that you no longer have side marker lights?

I never repinned mine as I grew tired of swapping out the pins to allow for non USDM tail lights. I wish someone would design a small harness that connects between the after market tail lamp and stock harness for both USDM and NON

Nope. Of course this is going to depend on where you live. My front side markers are not street legal either. They flash white for signal and my tails flash red

I fall right in the middle on these lights. I don't hate them at all (and actually like them on a black or white car) but I couldn't see me buying them for myself.
