Would have preferred to get the header ceramic coated, but no one here does it for a reasonable sum of money unfortunately. The oil cooler is a HKS one, so I think the sandwich plate is from the HKS kit as well. It's pretty effective, starts circulating in the high 80/low 90 (degrees centigrade). Have never broken past 115 degrees centigrade so far.
After a couple of hours of driving, I think this cold air intake would be a great pair with an unequal length header as it would deepen the boxer Rumble.

Thanks for the info. I'm still trying to decide between this and the Perrin intake.
I have the Innovate super charger w/ intercooler, ceramic coated headers and an oil cooler with the Mocal sandwich plate (same one used in the Perrin oil cooler kit). The temps that I see are similar to yours. So far I have not gone over 240 degrees Fahrenheit (~115 Centigrade) as well. My concern is that the elbow on the Mishimoto intake pipe looks like it runs a little too close to the oil cooler sandwich plate. The stock air filter box already rubs against my sandwich plate fittings. I guess if it doesn't fit I can always switch to the HKS sandwich plate. According to their website, Mishimoto doesn't appear to sell just their oil cooler sandwich plate.

Guess what folks! You can install and inspect your filter without removing bumper! I'll tear the car down this week and take some photos of how I did everything.
removing the tbar gives enough room!

Hello !. Place the air filter on the end of a longer tube does not cause the motor to perform more work to breathe?

It appears to make it easier for the engine to breathe. I'm guessing that the better filter makes up for any added difficulty from the longer tube.
