Is your overpipe front piper resonated with the Hemholtz?

What's the vertdic? Metal on metal contact or VVT noise from the E85 tune?

My fiitment issues are the same as everybody else that has posted on this tread. Super low clearance between the mid pipe and block. I think I'll try the move the engine around tomorrow.

It had a cat with the Hemholtz, it's up for sale now in the classifieds. I was tempted to cut the hemholtz off and weld the pipe shut to see if it would help . My guess is that it would probably just add rasp.

EDIT
Just sold the downpipe with the hemholtz. Going to purchasing a non resonated downpipe in about three weeks, so ill update then.

anyone got leaks at the manifold flange? we tightened the nuts to 50 ft lbs, using the OE gasket, and see some leak at the flanges using a smoke machine.. also the usual leak at the overpipe/header.. using all namless parts.. 2.5 op/fp combo.. we used their 3inch gasket with vibrant 2.5inch gasket..

Finally had time to dent the pipe after 3k kms of it being on. Tried the mallet first and nothing happened regardless of how hard I hit it. So I ended up using a small hammer. Good news is that no more contact with the engine. Bad news is the grey spot in the middle of the dent. This is where the engine made contact with the pipe previously. Sadly, it looks like a small portion of the engine piece melted on the pipe... Engine looks fine as it was only a extra piece.

Is this an indication to avoid the one pipe from nameless. I assumed toyota design this two pipes for a reason.

The same grey spot here... Looks like it's a really mass problem.

Any suggestions that don't include beating my pipe ( no pun intended you sick bastards :P) or denting my sub frame? Thank you!!
It's not RevWorks that is the problem. People are having the same issue with all headers.

Anyone hear anything about a fix for this other than denting the pipe? I'm not trying to buy a pipe I have to modify and I'm damn sure not shifting the engine for it. I guess I'll just go with Motiv/Berk.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend it.

My second pipe I received had better fitment (At least so I thought) When I installed it, it was all peachy (albeit very close, it wasn't touching.) I had my car's tranny replaced under warranty, and now I hear a slight rattle at times, I think it's when they reinstalled the pipe or the tranny something shifted and I no longer have the clearance I use to. I need to go under and see if I can get more clearance.

I wouldn't recommend the Nameless Combo pipe. I would either just get their Front pipe and grab someone else over pipe or go with a different combo all together.

I had this exact issue...contacted them on FB and they seemed to dance around the issue without trying to come up with a solution. I'll probably be ditching mine soon as i'm already looking at alternatives...

I also had fitment issues and the rattle from the resonator which they are fixing. I did find this though. The flange for the header isn't perfectly straight which then puts the rest of the pipe on a bind.

When I first got my nameless axle back and op/dp combo and install it. I remember I had to lift up the engine to get the op/dp to for. It was fine and now recently I can hear it rattle in the front when I'm at 4k rpm. Is this may be a leak issue or something else?

Update: I sent the pipe back to nameless because of the rattle on the resonator. They were able to fix the flange and the resonator. Everything fits perfectly now and it sounds amazing.
