My girl and I took it around over the weekend it was nice seeing people look out their cars to see what it was. There were even a few ladies hitting their friends to look at it.

"Hello Gar, We tried the best I can do is the $28,198.. We are only getting one or two every three months.

Thanks and have a great day!

Nope...
Another Alamo Toyota "Internet Sales Manager" began to call my cell phone and solicit my email from the "First 86" entry I made months ago. So, I replied by email I would be interested in a FRS 6MT whiteout with no options, no dealer add ons or "market adjustment" added to MSRP. His response was that they could get me a whiteout but there would be a $1500 market adjustment. Just sent them a reply to please take me off their mailing list...and by the way, let them know the company I work for will no longer be doing business with them on servicing the company courier car (an xB) and we'll be replacing it by purchasing a vehicle from a competitor. I doubt it will make any difference but, I'll certainly never consider buying a car there and I'll tell everyone I know about their shoddy "market adju$tment" business practice. I know they can't be blacklisted for this but...buyer beware when doing business with Alamo Toyota of San Antonio. Scion "Pure Price" is a crock at this dealership.

You tell them like it is! I will tell people to go to NorthPark Scion or Universal Scion. Even North Park Subaru is selling BRZ's at MSRP!

The Alamo Scion people are on crack!

This must be the other Asphalt 6-spd I saw there when I picked up my identical car on 6/13. Mine lives in Plano now. Great car and you don't have to worry about another one in your same town.

Here are some pics of the polar bear sitting in my garage, its funny that even though i come from a c63 amg and previously a GT-R this car is a blast to drive. I cant wait to track her @ harris hill.

Nice!!!!! Enjoy!!! I'd love to see "polar bear" in person to check out the FRS and white color in person. I've only seen Longhorn's BRZ and another WRB at the dealer. Hope you make it to "Coffee and Rides" on 30 June!
Harris Hill looks awesome to drive!

Yesterday, I got a inside lead that a buyer on waiting list at Gillman Subaru in Selma had dropped out. Salesman said it would be first come first serve to take over the spot on allocation list with the existing VON and the WRB Prem 6MT was expected to arrive in July. Didn't really ask any other details on phone as I was on the road and showed up at the dealer within a few minutes. Turns out they wanted a $500 non-refundable deposit AND a $3000 "market adjustment" added to MSRP. I walked. Buying a BRZ is almost like the old Soviet style "waiting list" procedure and I feel like I am dealing with the mafia with this "market adjustment" crap!!! Oh, well. Patience and delayed gratification is a virtue.....crap.....I WANT A BRZ!!!!!

I hear ya. These cars are impossible to come by. Cavender scion had one on their site yesterday and I was all prepared to drop everything to go buy it but I called and it was already sold to someone on their list of twelve people. I'm getting the run around from another dealer as well...I should have just bought an STI back when I found one at a good price.

Guys relax, this car has been out for only 21 days and some dealers are already getting their second allocations. Any illusions of this being a rare car are only in your head.

Hell, just in the past week I've had three separate opportunities to buy the FRS but chose to wait. Once in Austin, once in round rock, and once in Dallas.
