I think I know the answer but are all warranties on my car going to be voided? I actually got an extended warranty which cost me practically nothing.

It is very likely a Dealer won't warranty a supercharged car, especially if the part being warrantied was damaged as a result of the SC.

There's a thread on the forum that speaks to the Dealer having to prove the damage was done by the aftermarket part...

Yeah I've heard the same thing. Worst case scenario, you pull it out and hope you can get warranty work. Do you think the dealer tracks aftermarket installs when you bring your car in for service

Not sure on the tracking piece...

I'm sure notes can be written and revoked in whatever system they use...

Carb Tuned kit

Hey Guys,

So for those who already installed the kit, Could someone tell me if the car needs to be tuned by a shop again? or the carb tuned factory version purchased is sufficient to run the car. I was hoping that the map is not just a base map.

Appreciate yall in advance.

Depends on what else you changed from stock aside from bolting on the kit, i.e., exhaust

The CARB Tuned Kit is enough as long as you don't have any extras bolted on. The only thing I had was a Perrin (non-res) CBE... Installed the kit and CARB tune and she runs perfectly

If you installed headers, over pipe, mid, etc... I'd get it turned professionally...

Subaru vehicles can be flagged for "abuse" in their dealer systems.
