OMGZ! Super jealous. Do you think that if I went up to the dealership, they would let me sit in one of the non-reserved models. I just really want to feel the inside of one!

Sorry if someone asked this, I'm just really excited! Congrats to the first 86 too.

There's only this one here. We'll have 'standard stock' around the 20th or so. Most will be reserved, so call/email ahead to make sure there is one here before making the trek down

What do you mean it's a different Hot Lava? I've got a manual Hot Lava on order and saw that color on the iQ at Toyota museum and thought it was good. How is it different? I heard it was same color code. thanks

There you have it folks. The first 86 is on track. Looks like normal pre-orders is still on track for June 1st release so that the First86 can enjoy the exclusivity for about a month. The BRZ should be close by too, maybe even the end of May. I have pre-orders for both the FR-S and BRZ. I wonder who will contact me first and who will get the sale first..... ;P

Same name, different color code. It's just a hair darker.

Color code for this Hot Lava is: H8R Hot Lava (HATER, hahaha)

I'll post a pic up shortly.

Just got back from Longo. Jeff was a very cordial guy. Also, I thought Pekingduck might be interested in this tidbit: Jeff was very stern about the customer not wanting anyone touching/sitting in his car, and he kindly stressed that to me Good guy Jeff is, unlike some other dealers/salespeople we've all met and heard of in our many stories and adventures.

So the FRS is the only one at the dealership, and it was nicely tucked away in their secret garage. I was the only person there with Jeff and he allowed me to take a bazillion pix, which I've carefully selected for you to enjoy. Also, there was a dood from 3M taking measurements for clearbra/coat watever you call it, which was pretty neat to see.

Note: Boring pix to follow, but these pix are more for you to see how Whiteout is. It's not Camry/Corolla super white at all. It's more pearly/glittery and offwhite, similar to the Lexus white, I'd guess. So hoping that SWP BRZ will look the same. Also, the FRS front bumper/grill doesn't look catfishy at all in real life, which is a blessing!! Also, out of respect for Pekingduck, we did not get in the car, so all the interior shots are me sticking my arm in as far as I can to get a picture of the knobs/carbon fiber dash, so excuse the shitty quality/angles. Lastly, the interior quality appears to be exactly the same as the BRZ, which makes me very happy.

Thanks again for the opportunity, and congratz Pekingduck! (Apparently I just missed you by an hour)

WE BE JELLY!

Anyways, enjoy the pix:

Congrats Pekingduck!

The wait is almost over . I can't believe I'm saying this but, after years of waiting, we're just getting started.

The next few years should be fun
