Hmmmmm.... Good point. I will still hold out for Helix until a little after the end of the month. At that time the Depo ones should be almost 4 weeks old and plenty of time for Helix to do their stuff.

Just sent a PM. Hopefully some info on the Helix TOM'S taillights comes to light. I'll at least settle for a deal on the Depo ones. I would rather not wait for a refund and just put the money towards something else with 86_ZN6.

Got my Tom's today. They are gorgeous. However, the led set behind the reflector on one side isn't working. 86_zn6 refuses to do business like every other vendor and the way depo (whom I was taking to direct on FB) says the system works.

So, in order for me to be able to cut ties and finish my transaction, I modified my working tail light to function the same as my non working one. Essentially making them non DOT legal but both the same. Ill have to further mod them so they both work.

I will not spend money with this vendor in the future. I had more help from other vendors on this board for these tails then is even right.

If anyone thinks that was shit talking, overly harsh, insulting or anything along those lines, please let me know. I'm getting some pretty unprofessional emails that continue to add to my negative stance on the topic.

you're joking right?

we just spent the whole day talking about replacing the defective lights under DEPO warranty.

never did i say i refuse to replace them

you're the one who does not want to send them back and decided to tinker and modify the harness

so please dont tell everyone i refuse to do business with you and replace your lights

I am not sending the lights back without any kind of replacement in sight, without a partial or full refund and without any confidence based on the experience just getting the lights. You didn't even honor my request for usps shipping that I paid extra for on your website. It still came via 1 week fedex ground. If easy details such as that can't be dealt with, then how can I trust that my items and money are being handled in a way they should.

If you are going to quote me, do so in full. Don't pick and choose to try and spin it. You have earned the reputation you've gotten and I have merely given my opinion based on my situation.

I upgraded your shipping to FEDEX even though you only paid ($1.99) for USPS standard post which takes up to 8 days. not sure why you're complaining for an upgraded service via fedex.

fedex is safer and faster compared to USPS. and is fully insured

even if you continue the quote it still clearly says i "refuse to do business"

which is in fact the other way around. Iv have been very patient with you all day regarding replacement the lights under warranty.

but again, you decided to handle it in a different way and mess around with the harness with the hopes of making it work

You were pretty damn shady about the failed helix gb refunds. Refusing to provide service when something goes wrong seems to be pretty routine for 86_zn6. There are products I want that only this vendor carries that I refuse to order because I hated the way he did business.

According to his previous post, every time someone calls him out on not receiving the product its because "mailman lost it". All these other threads for failed GBs mysteriously disappeared etc etc. He's business ethics has been shady ever since he started being a vendor.

I am not trying to get in the middle of something I don't know about. But hardly anyone will cross ship defective products, especially when dealing with a third party. I had two separate bad Deatschworks injectors. working with both the shop and Deatschworks directly, neither would ship me an injector till they received the bad ones. And for the sake of getting my car going I bought new ones before I shipped the old ones.

Hell the shop would not even give me a refund after buying the extra injectors, but only credit.

Depends on the reliability of the shop/vendor, if you ask me... This is where reputation and trust comes in.

Yeah. Likely also maters the size of the company. But not even Newegg or Amazon has cross shipped me items.

So I'm getting the feeling that the Helix ones are out and also still have the TOM'S logo on them. I tried asking for a refund and was told there would be a 10% cancellation fee since the main supplier sees it as a cancellation of a pre-order.

I did state that there's no product available to cancel on. If our pre-order is to ensure the manufacturing of a product then we need an actual expected release date. We don't have time for this Nameless Performance run around!

I haven't heard anything back concerning if the Helix ones are coming out or what except for "next year" which really just means over 5 weeks from now. I don't want to throw away $30 just because they feel like it's owed them. Service has not be warranting of my $30. I would like to allocate my $300 towards the product I was promised.
