Went searching for the Hot Wheels FR-S today with no success. Very few real cars left on the peg hooks at most stores. Meh, it's not like I stopped anywhere out of the way and I got to drive my real FR-S, lol.

the hot wheels fr-s are very rare to find right now and took me a couple months of searching to finally find one, i just happened to be at a walmart with the wife one day and was looking through a few bins of hot wheels when some hot wheels collector asked me what i was looking for

he told me that he had just come from a hot wheels convention that was held at a K-mart a few miles down the road and saw a bunch.. so when i got there i managed to find several of them

picked up 2 for myself (one to stay in package) and another for my soon to be 2 year old nephew.. but he won't be receiving that little gift from me until he's old enough to understand and comprehend why i'm giving him this particular model.. so probably next year for him

Found these at my local Kroger. There were probably more.

And my collection. Really disappointed there's no Sports 800 Hot Wheels.

I find the Hot Wheels ones all over the place now. Picked one up for myself a little while back. I also have the two color variants of the AE86 - black on white, white on black. Can't remember which one was harder to find, think it was the white on black, but I kept looking for it thinking I had the other already. When I looked through my cars again it turned out I had been looking for the wrong one the whole time.

I'm hunting for a display case now. I've had a bunch of Hot Wheels since the early 90s sitting in their original blister packs, and although I never expected it (just in case) they haven't gone up in value at all, so I think it's time to liberate them from their packaging.

Was looking to see if Hot Wheels has re-colored the FR-S. I guess not, instead, these are new for 2014.

They did recolor the frs. They made one that looks exactly like that trueno in your hand.

At my desk non hot wheels.
Hunt for all available Toyota hot wheels has begun. Wife is skeptical why I'm so eager to go shopping with her!

Very nice! You have to go as far back as the 90s to get more Toyotas. MR2, Celicas, Supras, trucks, etc. You're more than half way done with '13 cars so very cool indeed.

Those hot wheels and even the Tomy models look nice. I've purchased the Tomy Models before in 1/150 scale and I've always been pleased with thm
