That looks like some kind of paprika; not really red not really orange. In other pictures it's showing more of a yellow undertone/basecoat.

those are pretty good pictures of hot lava.
if you want to google more pictures of the color you can look for the 2004 Release Series 1.0 xB, the 2008 Release Series 1.0 xD, the 2012 Release Series 9.0 xB, and its a stock color on the iQ

IMO, the Hot Lava used on the 2004 RS 1.0 xB was redder then what they have used since, but it is still really nice.

I agree. I went back and forth between Lava and Firestorm a dozen times before settling on Firestorm. This makes me question my choice once again.

It would look fantastic with the black double hood stripes. Only other car I've seen I like those color on is the 69 and current Gen camaro
